Happy Tuesday, Datum Community!

It’s been a volatile week for everyone in Crypto. But the Datum team, remains focused on building and releasing product and we are pleased to say that we are still on target for the official MainNet launch.

Over the last week, we’ve completed several updates to release the latest version of the Datum SDK, put the finishing touches on the full design of the App, gotten the Block Explorer ready, and continued to make progress on enhancing our brand and growing the community.

The new version of the Datum SDK v0.1.10 was released this week bringing major bug fixes and additional features such as enabling developers to fuel users transactions and plasma support to move DAT from Ethereum MainNet over to the Datum Blockchain and visa versa. Datum Block Explorer is ready to go — now you can review blocks and confirm transaction in real-time. Stay tuned for the official announcement later this week.

The new Datum App is in the final stages of release. Our development team will be submitting the app to Apple for review, and the new iOS version will be available soon pending Apple approval.
Our bounty programs on both Bounty0x and Gitcoin programs have been underway. If you haven’t joined it yet, check out the different bounties for both developers and community. Build your own app using the Datum SDK and spread awareness of the Datum project!

The Datum team has been busy joining different conferences globally in Hong Kong and Malaysia to spread awareness and grow our community. Datum’s Head of Product, Shane Cole was a speaker at Hong Kong Blockchain Conference 2018 talking about “Storing data on the Blockchain” on the 10th of August. He will be at Bloconomic 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this coming 16–17th of August too. Our China Community Managers, Tiger and Christiana were at FinWise Conference which was specifically focused on China’s blockchain market on the 10th of August as well.

The official Chinese Datum website is now available here. You can also find the Chinese whitepaper as well as the whole online community channels.
Now we have more than 1,000 Chinese Community members in 4 different Wechat groups. This is just the beginning, the Datum community will continue to expand in a mainland China and across the globe.
